The Crumb Catcher™ sediment trays are compatible with select deep fryers under Compatible Models only. We strongly encourage our customers to contact us by email or phone if they don't know which SKU is right for them — support@forthelinesupply.com or (626) 214-5379.

With this Crumb Catcher™ sediment tray, you'll extend the lifespan of the oil in your commercial deep fryer! By investing in this custom deep fryer sediment tray, you won't have to discard oil after only a few uses. Instead, this sediment tray is designed to keep oil from loose food particles that would fall into the fryer's cold zone and burn, thus improving the quality and taste of the frying oil.

This sediment tray increases the use of cooking oil from 25% to 50%, saving money. The sediment tray can be easily removed, quickly emptied when necessary, and replaced for continuous, uninterrupted frying during peak production. For best results, the sediment tray should be emptied multiple times throughout the day, depending on the volume of your business. Our product is designed for a 2-frying basket set up; a 3-frying basket setup is not recommended. This sediment tray is compatible with select deep fryers and will only fit fryers listed under Compatible Models.

These sediment trays are constructed of 304 stainless steel, which resists corrosion and meets all FDA requirements. Sturdy support fins allow frying baskets to sit securely on top of the tray, eliminating the need for a support rack. The handle is FDA-compliant silicone to withstand high temperatures for safe handling. Made in the USA, small batch production to ensure quality.

The Crumb Catcher™ sediment tray is dishwasher-safe and can also be
hand-washed in hot/warm water. It can withstand strong soaps and degreasers
without issue. Please ensure your Crumb Catcher sediment tray is completely dry
before installing it back in the fryer. We recommend cleaning it regularly to
prevent carbon buildup that can reduce its efficiency.

Frequently asked

What are the Crumb Catcher™ sediment trays?

the Crumb Catcher™ is a custom sediment tray designed to work with most commercial floor models. They help extend the life of cooking oil by collecting food crumbs and debris.

How much can I save by using the Crumb Catcher™?

Using the trays can increase the use of your cooking oil by 25% to 50%, resulting in significant cost savings for restaurant owners.

How do I fit the tray for the first time?

Fitting is best when your fryer is empty, drained of oil, and cooled down. Remove the rack that comes with the fryer and check for sharp areas that could puncture the fine mesh — if any exist, leave the factory rack in and place the tray on top. We design with about a ¼" overall gap of wiggle room for ease of use.

How often should I empty the Crumb Catcher™?

For best results, empty the Crumb Catcher™ every hour, or more frequently depending on your business needs. This helps maintain the efficiency and cleanliness of the filter and frying oil.

How do I clean the Crumb Catcher™ sediment tray?

the Crumb Catcher™ sediment trays are easy to clean. They are dishwasher safe and can also be hand-washed in hot water with soap or degreaser. Ensure the sediment tray is completely dry before placing it back in your fryer. Scheduled cleaning of the sediment tray will avoid carbon buildup.

What materials are the Crumb Catcher™ made from?

the Crumb Catcher™ is made from 304 stainless steel material, including the handle, frame, and 550-micron fine mesh. The silicone sleeve handle is FDA-compliant.

Does the Crumb Catcher™ sediment tray chip and/or rust?

No, it's made from 100% stainless steel. Around the spot welding, discoloration is common due to high heat fusing the parts.

Are there any precautions to take when using the Crumb Catcher™ sediment trays?

After removing the manufacturer's rack, check for any sharp areas or objects that could puncture the fine mesh. If so, leave the rack inside and place the sediment tray on top. Always ensure the filter is cleaned and completely dry before reinstalling it into the fryer tank.
